Flensburg will keep Karlsson

The director of SG Flensburg-Handewitt Dierk Schmäschke confirms, that he club want to keep Tobias Karlsson.

The contract of the Swedish defense specialist of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, Tobias Karlsson, expires after this season. As written in the morning the 35-year-old former Swedish national player has allegedly been in Denmark to look at the conditions in the Danish top club Skjern Håndbold. According to TV2 are Tobias Karlsson and Skjern Håndbold in negotiations.

The director of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, Dierk Schmäschke, would not comment on the rumors, but confirms that the north German club want to keep Tobias Karlsson, and that the two parts are in dialogue:

"I have no comment, and I do not need to comment on that. We would like to extend with Tobias (Karlsson, red.) and is in dialogue with him," the director of SG Flensburg-Handewitt says to Flensborg Avis.

Tobias Karlsson has just retired from the Swedish national team.
