According to TV2 the Danish top club Skjern Håndbold is in negotiations with Tobias Karlsson.

One of the best defenders in the world, the 35-year-old Swede Tobias Karlsson, has allegedly been in Denmark to look at the conditions in the Danish top club Skjern Håndbold. The player of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, who has just retired from the Swedish national team, has a contract with the north Germans which expires after this season, and he can be on his way to seek new challenges.

The chairman of the Board in Skjern Håndbold, Carsten Thygesen, has no comment about the rumors.

Skjern Håndbold has previously this season signed a SG Flensburg-Handewitt player. The Danish national player Anders Eggert leaves the north Germans after this season. He has signed a 3-year contract to the summer of 2019 with Skjern Håndbold.

The Danish shooting star goalkeeper of Århus Håndbold, Emil Nielsen, was announced on a 3-year contract in Skjern from next season yesterday.

In contrast, the Danish left wing Morten Balling leaves Skjern Håndbold after this season.
