Jordi Ribera replace Manolo Cadenas as national coach of Spain as already announced. The Spanish coach is presented as Spanish national coach on Tuesday.

For almost a month ago it became clear that the Spanish coach Jordi Ribera stopped as head coach of the national team of Brazil to replace Manolo Cadenas as head coach of the national team of Spain. Jordi Ribera was the head coach of the national team of Brazil from 2005 to 2008 and again from 2012 until now. He has delivered great performances by winning the Pan-american Championship three times. Furthermore he managed to qualify the team to the knock-out phase in both the World Championship and the Olympics (on home court).

The former assistant coach of Jordi Ribera, Washington Nunes, gets promoted to the national head coach of Brazil.
