Ademar extends with coach

The Spanish club Ademar León has announced the extension of the contract of the Spanish head coach Rafa Guijosa for the next two seasons to the summer of 2019.

Rafael Guijosa has been the head coach of the Spanish top club Ademar León since 2015. One of the best players of the world, who was named "IHF World Player of the Year" in 1999, has had a great career as a player with huge results both with his club FC Barcelona and on the Spanish national team.

The 47-year-old coach started his coaching career in BM Alcobendas in 2003, and has also been the head coach of BM Toledo and the national team of Iran.

After 11 matches of the Liga Asobal is Ademar Leon in third place behind FC Barcelona and Naturhouse La Rioja. The extension of the contract is announced just before this- and next weekends matches against the Danish club KIF Kolding-København in the EHF Cup's 3rd round. The winner qualifies for the group phase.
