The Danish line player Jesper Nøddesbo considering to retire from the Danish national team after the World Championship in France in January 2017.
The World Championship in France in January may be the last for the Danish national team's oldest member, the line player of FC Barcelona Jesper Nøddesbo. But it is not a decision the 35-year-old Dane has been taken yet:
"If only it was some stupid pigs, you were togehter with the national team with, and that we never were getting anywhere, so it was indeed actually easy enough to say no. But it's nice every time, so it is difficult. And because I have only just received selection for the next session, I have not really given much thought to it yet. I started taking the decision that I want to be in a championship more, and then we look on the future afterwards," he states to Danish TV2.
"I've been like this the last few years that I always evaluate it after the championship, if it was the last. I have come to the conclusion that I'm ready for another turn, and then we will see after the World Championship, if it will be the last."
Jesper Nøddesbo got his national team debute back in 2001. He has won the European Championship and the Olympics once with Denmark.
