The Danish youth national player of Skive fH, Nicolaj Nørager, extends his contract to the summer of 2019.

Skive fH, the relegators of the Danish league last season, has secured one of the most important players of the Danish U21-national team, Nicolaj Nørager, until the summer of 2019 The 20-year-old playmaker has extended his contract with 2 years.

The new head coach of the club, who tops the second best league in Denmark with maximum points after 6 matches, Ole Bitsch, is happy about the extension:

"First of all I think it was a big seal of approval when we could assign a profiled U-national player and "coming-man" to Skive fH. That we can already put signatures on an extension, I see as a great recognition from both parts. This proves that the things we have said, done and shown towards Nicolaj are points we can vouch for. Nicolaj has lots of things he can develop in several facets of the game, but conversely we see also Nicolaj as a very talented player who will work hard to develop. I'm not sure that Skive fH is his final destination, if we are able to develop his potential, then there is certainly a higher step up the ladder for him at a time," the head coach states on the website of the club.

Nicolaj Nørager came to Skive fH from the Danish Cupwinners HC Midtjylland before the start of the season.

The former head coach and Sports Manager of the Danish national team, Ulrik Wilbek, has previously named Nørager as one of the biggest talents of Danish handball.
