The Swedish pivot Adam Nyfjäll leaves the Danish league club SønderjyskE, when his contract expires after this season.
SønderjyskE's Swedish profile Adam Nyfjäll has according to a press release from the Danish side received an offer that he can not refuse, and leaves the club after this season. Head coach of SønderjyskE, Kasper Christensen, will now, together with sports director Simon Hajdu Lindhardt, be in the process of finding a qualified replacement for the coming season.
"We have enjoyed Adam Nyfjäll for two seasons, and fully respect that he wants to try out new challenges. It has been a good experience to have him in the squad where he has taken over the task for Magnus Gullerud. His development has been steadily increasing at both ends of the court, and then he is just a nice person to be surrounded outside the hall floors. Adam Nyfjäll is a bold player type to work with his extreme winning mentality and constant desire to develop. So from here there should be a lot of luck with the handball career and on his further path after the summer break," Kasper Christensen emphasizes in a press release from SønderjyskE.
The Swedish pivot has been and is happy in SønderjyskE and Sønderborg:
"It has been a good time in many ways. I have been very fond of the club and the city that backs up on us. At the same time, I am also excited and happy for future challenges. It hurts me to leave the club, the city and most of all the lovely people I have learned to know in and around SønderjyskE this summer. On the personal level, the last couple of years has been the most evolving period ever for me. I would like us to qualify for the playoffs this season. Our amazing fans really deserve to get those experiences, and I hope that I will be allowed to cheer with them on Denmark's best home ground before it comes to goodbye and thanks for the match," concludes Adam Nyfjäll.

In the beginning of November the Swedish newspaper Kristianstadsbladet learned, that the Swedish champion IFK Kristianstad was in contact with Adam Nyfjäll. At that point the 25-year-old Swede confirmed the interest (read more here).
"I'm very excited about it. Now I do not know how you've heard this, but it is clear that Kristianstad is a great club. But I still have an employer, so far I still play in SønderjyskE," he stated to Kristianstadsbladet.
It seems that the strong Swedish pivot Adam Nyfjäll, who is originally from Lysekil in Sweden and has previously played in Redbergslid IK, Kärra HF and GF Kroppskultur in Sweden and Viking Stavanger, Falk Horten and Haslum HK in Norway, returns to Sweden after this season.
