Skjern coach rejects rumors

Hballtransfers.com exclusive: The assistant coach of Skjern Håndbold, Henrik Kronborg, rejects the rumors of the Skjern Håndbold-interest in the Swedish goalkeeper Leo Larsson.

Yesterday, the Swedish newspaper Kristianstadsbladet learned, that the Danish top club Skjern Håndbold is interested in the Swedish goalkeeper of the Swedish champion IFK Kristianstad, Leo Larsson (read more here).

Today, the assistant coach of Skjern Håndbold, Henrik Kronborg, rejects the rumors about the 27-year-old Swedish goalkeeper, who has a contract that expires at the end of this season.

"Leo Larsson is not - and has never been a topic in Skjern Håndbold," the Dane, who besides his job in Skjern also is the assistant coach of the Danish national team, emphasizes to Hballtransfers.com.

Skjern Håndbold's Serbian goalkeeper Tibor Ivanišević leaves the club to join the German Bundesliga club HSG Wetzlar after this season (read more here). The Danish vice-champion and Cup winner is therefore looking for a replacement, who can form a goalkeeper duo together with the talented Danish goalkeeper Emil Nielsen.
