Sjöstrand agrees with Minden

The Swedish left wing Charlie Sjöstrand has extended his contract with GWD Minden.

The 30-year-old Swedish left wing of the Bundesliga club GWD Minden, Charlie Sjöstrand, has extended his contract with one year to the summer of 2018.

Charlie Sjöstrand came to Grün-Weiß Dankersen in the summer of 2015 from the Swedish club Redbergslids IK. In his first season, he celebrated the promotion to the Bundesliga with the club.

Charlie Sjöstrand has previously also played in Swedish clubs as Alingsås HK, where he won the Swedish Championship in 2009, and IFK Kristianstad. He has furthermore played 16 caps for the Swedish youth national team.

With 50 goals this season the 30-year-old is currently among the best five scorers of his team.
