Rumor: Sigurmannsson leaves Aalborg

The Icelandic left wing of Aalborg Håndbold, Stefán Rafn Sigurmannsson, allegedly leaves the club before two years ahead of schedule.

The Icelandic national player of the Danish top club Aalborg Håndbold, Stefán Rafn Sigurmannsson, is according to the Danish newspaper Nordjyske moving away from the club after this season.

Stefán Rafn Sigurmannsson otherwise joined Aalborg Håndbold from Rhein-Neckar Löwen this season on a 3-year contract to the summer of 2019, but the Hungarian top club Pick Szeged are allegedly close to reaching an agreement with Aalborg Håndbold on a transfer for the 26-year-old Icelandic national player.

Stefán Rafn Sigurmannsson has played 56 caps for the Icelandic national team.
