According to sources of the Icelandic newspaper Visir is the Icelandic left back Egill Magnússon about to return to his former club Stjarnan Handbolti.

The Icelandic League club Stjarnan Handbolti has allegedly found the successor of the Icelandic left back Olafur Gustafsson, who allegedly has signed a 3-year contract with the Danish League club KIF Kolding-København (read more here).

The 21-year-old Icelandic left back Egill Magnusson is according to the Icelandic newspaper Visir destined to become the replacement of Gustafsson in Stjarnan. Egill Magnusson joined his current club, the Danish League club TTH Holstebro, from just Stjarnan in 2015.

The Icelandic youth national player has ever since been hit by several injuries, and because of that his success in TTH Holstebro has been limited.

Egill Magnusson played a key role in the Icelandic U-19 team, who won the World Championship Bronze in Russia in 2015.

TTH Holstebro announced the farewell of Egill Magnusson on the Facebook site of the club yesterday.
