Rumor: Knudsen close to new deal

The experienced Danish pivot Michael V. Knudsen seems to continue his career in the top of Danish handball.
One of the best pivots of the Danish League, Michael V. Knudsen, is according to the Danish newspaper Midtjyllands Avis close to extending his contract with the Danish top club Bjerringbro-Silkeborg.
The Danish newspaper has talked with the director of Bjerringbro-Silkeborg, Jesper Schou, and he is optimistic about keeping one of the club's biggest stars.
For the question of whether the parties have agreed, Jesper Schou answers the following:
"I will say that, soon, there will be news in that case."
The contract of Michael V. Knudsen, who came to Bjerringbro-Silkeborg from the German top club SG Flensburg-Handewitt in 2014, expires after this season. Besides Knudsen BSV has also another former Danish national pivot, Jesper Nøddesbo.
The former Danish national player, who has played 244 caps and scored 795 goals, has among others played in Viborg HK and Skjern Håndbold in Denmark and from 2005 to 2014 in the German top club SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
In 2008 he won the European Championship in Norway for the 1st time in the history of the Danish men national team.
