The 27-year-old Swedish left back of Rhein-Neckar Löwen, Kim Ekdahl Du Rietz, retires allegedly from handball after this season!
According to sensational informations of the Swedish newspaper, Sportbladet, has the former Swedish national player, Kim Ekdahl Du Rietz, decided to retire from handball after this season.
The only 27-year-old left back won the German championship with Rhein-Neckar Löwen last season, and has never been better. Kim Ekdahl Du Rietz was a key player when Sweden took Olympic silver in London in 2012 but retired from the national team in autumn 2014 as only the age of 25.
According Sportbladet has Ekdahl Du Rietz now decided to stop completely with handball after this season. Kim Ekdahl Du Rietz, who previously has had serious injuries, has a contract with "the lions" to the summer of 2018, but allegedly should has informed the people in the club that he intends to lay off already this summer. Instead he will allegedly get out and travel around the world.
