Christian Berge is according to TV2.no in the game of becoming the successor of Ljubomir Vranjes as head coach in SG Flensburg-Handewitt.

The former SG Flenburg-Handewitt player and current head coach of the Norwegian national team, Christian Berge, is allegedly one of the favourites of becoming the successor of the Swede Ljubomir Vranjes as head coach in SG Flensburg-Handewitt. That writes TV2.no.

Ljubomir Vranjes has confirmed, that the Hungarian top club Telekom Veszprem is interested in buying him out of his contract (to the summer 2020) with SG Flensburg-Handewitt, and several German newspapers writes that it is only a matter of time before the deal is agreed.

The replacement for Vranjes could according to TV2.no become Christian Berge, who previously has stated that he has dreamed of taking over the north German club one day.

"I have nothing to say to that. I have fully focus on what we do now. It is absolutely impossible for me to stand here and say anything about it in advance of the World Championship. Now it is fully focused on the World Championship for me. What happens after will happen. Now I am fully focused on the World Championship," the Norwegian coach says to TV2.no.

Christian Berge played in SG Flensburg-Handewitt from 1999 to 2006.
