Rasmus Lauge rejects that a comeback on the Danish national team in the World Championship in France in January is realistic.
The 25-year-old Danish backcourt player of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, Rasmus Lauge, who got injured with a cracked meniscus in left knee in May, is clearly improving, but is realistic in relation to his comeback:
"It goes as it should. Things are going really well and we are satisfied with how it looks. In a month, I begin to train with the team on all parameters, and then it takes the time it takes, before the doctors provide my a 100% green light. The World Championship is not realistic, and I do not think about it. It is not a goal for me," he told TV2 after the Champions League match between his old- and current club, Bjerringbro-Silkeborg and SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
Due to his current injury he missed the Olympics in Rio this summer, where Denmark won Olympic gold for the first time in the history.
