The Danish league club Mors-Thy Håndbold has sold their 28-year-old Danish line player Christoffer Cichosz to a top club.

After three seasons the Danish line player Christoffer Cichosz leaves the Danish league club Mors-Thy Håndbold this summer. Cichosz has according to Mors-Thy been given a unique opportunity, and the line player continues his career in a top club - an option which Mors-Thy Håndbold will not stand in their way.

"We cry with one eye and smile with the other. We say goodbye to a great player, fighter and personality - but this is how it is as a development club, while we are proud once again to pass one of our players on and we want Cichosz every success in the future," says Henrik Hedegaard from Mors-Thy Håndbold, adding that Mors-Thy Håndbold has received financial compensation for releasing Christoffer Cichosz in the middle of the contract period.

Christoffer Cichosz: "I have been extremely happy for my time in Mors-Thy Håndbold, where I have developed both as a player and as a person. There is an eminent interest in handball in Thy and Mors and Mors-Thy Håndbold is just a really cool place to play handball. Now we need to finish this season off properly - it will be the perfect end to my time in the blue shirt."

According to informations from Hbold.dk Christoffer Cichosz has decided to continue his career in the Danish top club Skjern Håndbold as a replacement for Thomas Klitgaard, who retires after this season.

The 28-year-old Danish line player has previously played in Skive fH and Lemvig-Thyborøn Håndbold.
