The 27-year-old former Icelandic national player Ólafur Gústafsson has signed a 2-year contract with the Icelandic League-club Stjarnan to the summer of 2018.

When the Icelandic left back and defence specialist Gustafsson left FH Hafnrfjörður in Iceland, and signed a contact with the German top club SG Flensburg-Handewitt, the expectations were huge. Serious injuries has unfortunately put a stop to his adventure abroad both in Germany and in his last club in Denmark, Aalborg Håndbold.

He now returns to Iceland to get his career back on track. He has signed a 2-year contract with the Icelandic club Stjarnan.
