Friðriks­son signs contract with Grótta

The 30-year-old Icelandic playmaker Elv­ar Friðriks­son has signed a 1-year contract with the Icelandic league-team Grótta Handbolti.

Elv­ar Friðriks­son har formerly played in the Champions League with Valur Reykjavik in 2007/08, and has since played abroad in the Danish club Lemvig-Thyborøn Håndbold and the Swedish club Hammarby Handboll.
