Danish right back moves to Sweden

The 28-year-old Danish right back Jonas "Zuk" Løkken has signed a 1-year contract with the Swedish club Hammarby Handboll.

Jonas "Zuk" Løkken leaves the relegators of the Danish Handball League, Nordsjælland Håndbold. He has signed a 1-year contract with Swedish club Hammarby Handboll for the upcomming season.

Before Jonas Løkken signed a contract with Hammarby, he was on trial in the Swiss club, BSV Bern Muri.

The 28-year-old lefthanded backcourt player has played in different clubs in the Danish League and 1. division the last 10 years. Løkken played the last 3 seasons in Nordsjælland Håndbold. He played 105 games for the club, which is the sixth most in the history of the club.

Jonas Løkken describes himself as having a good eye for the game and a good technique, to the official website of Hammarby Handboll.

The manager of Hammarby Handboll, Kalle Matsson, says the following about the signing to the website of the club:

"It is a very exciting accession and a type of player we have been looking for for a long time. An unexpected opportunity opened to us to bring in an experienced player, and we have worked hard to resolve it. I am very pleased, and I think Jonas will mean a lot to the team in the upcoming season."
