 Claus Møller Jakobsen will help TMS Ringsted until Christmas.

The 39-year-old Danish left back Claus Møller Jakobsen, who retired from handball in 2014, makes a surprising comeback. The former Danish national player has agreed to help the club from the second best Danish league, TMS Ringsted.

TMS Ringsted has because of an knee injury to their normal left back Lasse Sinding been in search of a replacement. Claus Møller Jakobsen says the following about his surprising comeback to TV2.dk:

"I had not thought that I was going back on the court again, but they've got some injuries in Ringsted and asked if I would give a hand here until Christmas. I agreed."

The strong Danish left back both began and ended his professional handball career in the Danish top club Skjern Håndbold. In between he played 9 years in Spain. He has played 121 caps and scored 149 goals for Denmark.
