The 30-year-old Danish free agent left wing Kristian Klitgaard has signed a half a year contract with Bjerringbro-Silkeborg.

The Danish left wing, who last season resigned his contract with Team Sydhavsøerne, which plays in the second best League in Denmark, has been on tryout in Silkeborg for the last couple of days. He'll become a back up for the former Danish national player Stefan Hundstrup.

Last season Bjerringbro-Silkeborg won their first national championship. They participate in the EHF Champions League this season in group A against Telekom Veszprém, FC Barcelona Lassa, Paris Saint-Germain, Orlen Wisla Plock, SG Flensburg-Handewitt, Kadetten Schaffhausen and THW Kiel.
