The Norwegian coach Børge Lund leaves Bodø HK after this season.

After 6 years as head coach of the Norwegian league club Bodø HK 40-year-old Børge Lund has decided to leave the club when his contract expires this summer.

The Norwegian handball legend has a long player career behind him with more than 200 caps for Norway and seasons in clubs as AaB Håndbold, HSG Nordhorn, THW Kiel, Rhein-Neckar Löwen and Füchse Berlin. He played the last 3 seasons of his career as a playing coach of Bodø HK from 2013 to 2016.

This season Bodø HK relegated from the Norwegian league. They finished last with only 4 points in 22 matches.

Besides his head coach job in Bodø HK. Børge Lund has been the assistant coach of Christian Berge on the Norwegian national team since 2016.
