The 21-year old Danish line player of the Danish champions Bjerringbro-Silkeborg, Kristian Ørsted, fights for a new contract.

The contract of the former Danish youth national player Kristian Ørsted expires in BSV after this season. The tall and physically strong line player came to the Danish champions two years ago, and has since gained more and more playing time despite fierce competition from Michael V. Knudsen and Rasmus Jensen.

The Danish line player, who played youth handball in Århus Håndbold, hopes to perform well enough this season to get a new contract:

"My contract expires this summer, and I have to do my best to get a new contract. That is the aim. If not in BSV, I have to do so well that the other clubs sees me. But all the focus is on BSV," the 210 centimeters high line player says to Midtjyllands Avis.
