The Tunesian Handball Federation has fired the national head coach, Hafedh Zouabi.
The Tunisian Handball Federation (FTHB) has dismissed the national head coach, Hafedh Zouabi.
In a statement the FTHB said Hafedh Zouabi, who was appointed as head of the national team in March 2015, did not achieve the objectives assigned to him and that his contract has been terminated.
"The federation has decided to terminate the contract of Hafedh Zouabi due to failing achievements: qualifying for the 1/4-finals of the Olympics in Rio 2016 and 1/8-final of the World Champions 2017 in France."
The Tunesian Handball Federation now seeks for a replacement.
Hafedh Zouabi has a long career as coach since 1988 for clubs as Club Africain, Nadi Al-Kuwait, Al Ahli SC, AS Hammamet and Al-Shabab SC.
