Ribera switches national team

The Spanish coach Jordi Ribera stops as head coach of the national team of Brazil to replace Manolo Cadenas as head coach of the national team of Spain.

Jordi Ribera was the head coach of the national team of Brazil from 2005 to 2008 and again from 2012 until now. He has delivered great performances by winning the Pan-american Championship three times. Furthermore he managed to qualify the team to the knock-out phase in both the World Championship and the Olympics (on home court).

The Handball Federation of Brazil confirmed the news and thanked Ribera for his work in Brazil. Who his successor will be is still unknown.
