Portuguese left wing to Macedonia

The 24-year-old Portuguese left wing Sergio Barros has signed a 1-year contract with the ambitious Macedonian club HC HJS Rabotnik Bitola to the summer of 2017.

Portuguese Sergio Henrique Monteiro de Barros has played in the Portuguese top club Sporting CP all his professional career. He has participated in the EHF Cup with Sporting CP the last four seasons.

The fast Portuguese left wing is happy to be a part of the ambitious Macedonian club:

"I am pleased that I came to a handball country like Macedonia. Here handball is loved with great passion and I believe that I have made the right choice.  I know the team and I am looking forward to start the Championship," the new HC HJS Rabotnik Bitola-player stated on the club's website.

The Portuguese left wingers first official game is expected to be on September 17 in the derby against RK Pelister Bitola.

HC HJS Rabotnik Bitola has great ambitious and the club has already signed several players this season. Great players as the Macedonian playmaker Naumce Mojsovski and the Slovenian/Macedonian right back Renato Vugrinec have been rumored to the Macedonian club. It is still uncertain whether HC HJS Rabotnik Bitola are finished to sign players in the transfer market this season.
