Greek national player leaves Hildesheim

The 22-year-old Greek national player Spyros Cherouveim leaves the 2. Bundesliga club Eintracht Hildesheim to return to his former club in Luxembourg Handball Esch.
After the severe injuries of Max Kohl and Mario Jelinic the Luxembourg top club Handball Esch has signed a contract with the Greek left back Spyros Cherouveim to the summer of 2019. Spyros Cherouveim, who played in Handball Esch in the season of 2015/16, returns to his former club with immediate effect.
Spyros Cherouveim began his handball career in the Greek top club A.E.K Athens. In 2015 the 201 centimeters tall left back joined Handball Esch from the Greek club AO Poseidon Loutrakiou. After one season in Luxembourg he moved to Barcelona to play for FC Barcelona B. Before this season he came to the German 2. Bundesliga club Eintracht Hildesheim.
