Bouchekriou new coach of UAE

Salah Bouchekriou is new national head coach of the United Arab Emirates.

The former head coach of the national team of his homeland Algeria, Salah Bouchekriou, has signed a 1-year contract with the United Arab Emirates Handball Federation as head coach of the national team of United Arab Emirates to the summer of 2018.

Salah Bouchekriou has previously been national coach on the Persian Gulf in Bahrain from 2013 to 2015.

Salah Bouchekriou resigned as head coach of the national team of Algeria in 2016. The contract of Salah Bouchekriou ran to the summer of 2017, but after Algeria did not qualify for the World Championship in France in 2017, the coach chose to stop.
