According to the French sports newspaper L'equipe the French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain is interested in the Danish pivot Henrik Toft Hansen and the Spanish defense specialist Viran Morros!

The French top club PSG wants to recruit the Danish Olympic champion Henrik Toft Hansen and the Spanish defense specialist Viran Morros, L'equipe learns.

The major challenge for Paris Saint-Germain transfer-wise for next season is the pivot position, which is crucial in the game system of the new Spanish head coach of the club, Raul Gonzalez, who comes from RK Vardar (read more here). The Swedish national player Jesper Nielsen allegedly leaves the club to join the German champion Rhein-Neckar Löwen (read more here), so PSG needs a new companion to Luka Karabatic on the pivot position.

Raul Gonzalez according to L'equipe greatly appreciates the Brazilian pivot Rogerio Moraes, one of his pillars at RK Vardar, but the Macedonian club, who already has lost another pivot, Mijajlo Marsenic, who chose Füchse Berlin - allegedly over PSG (read more here), is reluctant to release the player under contract until 2019.

Instead, according to L'equipe's informations, the first priority of PSG is the 30-year-old Danish pivot Henrik Toft Hansen. The Danish Olympic champion, who plays for the German top club SG Flensburg-Handewitt, has a contract that expires at the end of the season, and both Danish Simon Hald (read more here) and German Johannes Golla (read more here) are rumored to replace him in the German top club.

Previously, the Danish League club Ribe-Esbjerg HH offered the Danish national player a contract (read more here). The Swedish wife of Henrik Toft Hansen, Ulrika Toft Hansen, plays in the same town as Ribe-Esbjerg HH for the women-club Team Esbjerg.

Another Danish player has recently been rumored to PSG. According to the Danish newspaper Midtjyllands Avis PSG is interested in the giant Nikolaj Markussen (211 centimeters tall, 29 years old). But the club will have to pay a transfer fee to get the left back, who is still under contract for two years in Bjerringbro-Silkeborg (read more here).

Furthermore, PSG allegedly signs the 33-year-old Spanish defender Viran Morros, who has a contract with FC Barcelona, that expires at the end of the season. He should replace the current Danish defense specialist of PSG, Henrik Møllgaard, who returns to Aalborg Håndbold after this season (read more here). FC Barcelona has allegedly already found the replacement for Viran Morros, the Brazilian left back of Pick Szeged, Thiagus Petrus (read more here).

Regarding the assistant coach, it should be another Spaniard and... another Gonzalez, Jesus Javier, also called "Jota", who has been doing miracles since 2007 in La Rioja, the club of Logroño. The 45-year-old was formerly assistant coach of Juan Carlos Pastor in BM Valladolid, the club where Raul Gonzalez has spent his entire playing career.
