According to the German newspaper Erlanger Nachrichten the experienced Slovenian goalkeeper Gorazd Škof joins HC Erlangen after this season.
Before this season the 39-year-old Slovenian goalkeeper Gorazd Škof came to Paris Saint-Germain from the League rivals HBC Nantes to form a duo with Theirry Omeyer for a year, before the promising Spanish goalkeeper Rodrigo Coralles comes to the French powerhouse this summer.
It has therefore always been the plan, that the Slovenian national goalkeeper should leave PSG after this season. And although he soon turns 40 Gorazd Škof has allegedly no plans to end his career. According to the German newspaper Erlanger Nachrichten he replaces Mario Huhnstock in German Bundesliga club HC Erlangen.
If the rumors hold true he will form a duo with the former THW Kiel goalkeeper Nikolas Katsigiannis, who has a contract to the summer of 2018.
Gorazd Škof has previously also played in clubs as RK Gorenje Velenje, RK Celje and RK Koper in Slovenia and RK Zagreb in Croatia. He has played 188 caps for Slovenia since 2001
HC Erlangen is at the moment placed 8th in the Bundesliga.
