The Danish national player of THW Kiel, René Toft Hansen, backs out of the upcoming European Qualifiers
The Danish national coach Gudmundur Gudmundsson have to do without one of the best players, René Toft Hansen, who has just sent his apologies for the upcoming European Qualifiers against the Netherlands and Latvia.
"René Toft has unfortunately announced from the assembly because he has been through a very tough rehabilitation program in the six months to Olympic preparations in July and has since been put under severe pressure, so he needs a break," says Gudmundur Gudmundsson in a press release from the Danish Handball Federation, DHF.
The Icelandic coach has instead called for the line player of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, Anders Zachariassen.
Also the Danish line player of the French club St. Raphaël, Alexander Lynggaard, has backed out of the national team due to injuries. He has been replaced by the line player of Aalborg Håndbold, Simon Hald.
