The Norwegian national player Petter Øverby stays with the Norwegian champions Elverum Håndball for one more season.

The 24-year old line player was rumored to the Swedish champions IFK Kristianstad for a long time to replace Fredric Pettersson and Anton Lindskog, but disagreements about his contract with Elverum made the transfer impossible.

Petter Øverby and Elverum Håndball are participating in the Champions League this season.
