Guillaume Saurina replaces injured Olivier Nyokas in HBC Nantes with immediate effect!
Press release from HBC Nantes:
The 36-year-old French left back Guillaume Saurina has just signed a contract with HBC Nantes with immediate effect until June 2018.
HBC Nantes is very pleased to announce the signing of Guillaume Saurina from CSM Bucharest. Following the unavailability of Olivier Nyokas, but also in view of the importance of the deadlines scheduled for the "H" in the domestic League and the European competition, Guillaume Saurina comes to strengthen Nantes for this season 17-18.
From November, the HBC Nantes will have a new left back (1,93m - 99 kg) able to be playing in Velux EHF Champions League. Familiar with the French championship by his noticed passage at the USAM Nîmes, he is still today, the second best scorer of LidlStarligue in activity (1224 goals), despite his departure at the CSM Bucharest in 2016. The great shooter arrives in Nantes to bring his experience and range of shots to the benefit of the purple collective.
The new recruit of the HBC Nantes will put his suitcases in Nantes as soon as Monday and integrate the strength of Thierry Anti in stride.
Guillaume Saurina in brief:
- August 4th, 1981
- Size: 1.93 m
- Weight: 99 kg
- 2nd best scorer in the French League in activity.
