Updated: Rumor: Stevanovic to Plock

Updated: Ivan Stevanovic has previously been rumored to SPR Wisla Plock after this season (read more below). Now Balkan-handball.com learns, that the Croatian national player has signed a 2-year contract to the summer of 2021 with the ambitious Polish vice champion (read more here).

 

The Croatian national goalkeeper Ivan Stevanovic could allegedly join SPR Wisla Plock after this season.

The 36-year-old Croatian goalkeeper, Ivan Stevanovic, has played in the Swiss top club Kadetten Schaffhausen since 2017, but the club from Switzerland has already announced that the Croatian national player leaves the club after this season. Stevanovic had a contract valid until 2020 but due to personal reasons he asked for an early departure.

The ambitious Swiss has replaced him with the Spanish goalkeeper of Ademar Leon, Ignacio Biosca (read more here), and now we are just waiting to see where the experienced Croat is going to play after this season.

According to the Polish website Sportowefakty Ivan Stevanovic could join the Polish vice champion Wisla Plock, to form a duo with the Polish national goalkeeper Adam Morawski. The Polish website writes that both Marcin Wichary and Adam Borbely may leave Wisla Plock after this season.

There are several rumors about the future in Wisla Plock at the moment. Both Momir Ilic (read more here) and Marko Mamic (read more here) are rumored to the club. Furthermore, the Spanish left back Alvaro Ruiz has signed a contract with the Poles (read more here).
