Sabaté continues as Hungarian national coach

The current head coach of the Hungarian national team, Xavi Sabaté, continues in the job for the rest of the season.

The Hungarian Handball Federation has extended the contract Xavi Sabaté, which expired after the World Championship, until the summer of 2017. The Spanish coach, who also is in charge of the Hungarian top club Telekom Veszprém, will thus lead the Hungarian national team in the European Qualifiers in May and June, before the current Swedish head coach of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, Ljubomir Vranjes, replaces him (read more here).
