Rumor: Czech joins Kiel

According to the German newspaper Kieler Nachrichten the Czech defense specialist of Meshkov Brest, Pavel Horak, joins THW Kiel after this season.

According to KN-online, THW Kiel will secure the services of Pavel Horak from next season. 

The Czech national player is currently playing for the Belarussian Champions League participant Meshkov Brest. The 36-year-old left back has previously played in the German Bundesliga at Frisch Auf Göppingen, Füchse Berlin and HC Erlangen.

The Sporting Director of THW Kiel, Viktor Szilagyi, did not want to comment on the Horak rumors to Kieler Nachrichten, but stated that the Czech would fit very well into the profile he was looking for. "We are on the look-out for an experienced defender who can help us immediately - but also because of the injury of Gisli Kristjánsson in attack," Viktor Szilagyi stated the the newspaper.

The German defense specialist Sebastian Firnhaber changes to HC Erlangen after the season.
