Olympiakos signs first foreign player

The Greek handball club Olympiakos SFP has signed the first foreign player in the history of the club, Nikola Skrobic.

The 25-year-old Serbian/Bosnian right back Nikola Skrobic has signed a contract with the ambitious Greek club Olympiakos SFP.

"Olympiacos is a very big club with a huge organization and successes in all sports. It is very good for me and my career to join the team. I will give my best in trainings and games to help the team achieve its goals," he states in a press release of Olympiakos SFP.

Nikola Skrobic has experience of playing in various leagues. He has previously played in Greece in the club A.O. Poseidon Loutraki from 2011 to 2013, but also in the Israeli club Maccabi Rehovot, the Norwegian club Nøtteroy Håndball and last season in the Iranian club Magnesium Ferdows. Previously, he was a part of the Bosnian youth national team.
