Jurkiewicz stays in Kielce

Mariusz Jurkiewicz extends his contract with Vive Kielce to the summer of 2019.

The Polish Champions League winners Vive Kielce retains its Polish strain. After extended the contracts with Sławomir Szmal (read more here), Karol Bielecki (read more here) and Paweł Paczkowski (read more here) also the experienced Polish back court player Mariusz Jurkiewicz has extended his contract with the polish champions for two more years to the summer of 2019

The 35-year-old Polish national player is happy to stay in Kielce: "I'm glad I'm staying at the club and that I can fight with the team for the highest goals. First of all, I want to thank the club and the Board for the confidence placed in me. It is for me not the easiest time, and it is always an extra boost to work harder and faster to return to the floor," the injured back court player stated in a press release.

Mariusz Jurkiewicz came to Vive Kielce in the summer of 2015 from the League rivals Wisla Plock. He has also played in clubs as Ciudad Real/Atletico Madrid and Portland San Antonio. 

Jurkiewicz has played 163 caps and scored 278 goals for the Polish national team
