Füchse Berlin continue to plan for the future. The capital club is in the near future in a change of personnel: four players come, three go.
The foxes have found a successor to their "oldie": The 25-year-old Malte Semisch will change from TSV Hannover-Burgdorf to Füchse and thus inherit the season's end Petr Stochl (41). "He is one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga and has proven this several times in the current season at Hannover-Burgdorf. We are pleased that Malte has helped us to find a strong man for the goalkeeping position who will keep up the competition," says Füchse CEO Bob Hanning.
The 2.08-meter Semisch, who made 34 games for the junior national teams of the DHB announced: "I am pleased that I play from next season with such an ambitious club as Füchse Berlin. The club has big goals, which I have too. I want to win titles. This thought drives me. I had a very good time in Hanover and definitely go well. "
Füchse, who have also signed Simon Ernst (VfL Gummersbach) and Stipe Mandalinic (RK Zagreb), also bring Mijaljo Marsenic. The 24-year-old pivot comes for the new season from current Champions League winner Vardar Skopje and has signed for three years. Hanning on the Serbian international: "He is the type of pivot we wanted. Mijajlo also plays in defense and is very agile and fast for his size. We are glad that he will join us. "
Meanwhile, the captains are also pulling two players. So Petar Nenadic will leave Füchse in winter. The playmaker joins after three and a half years in Berlin to the Hungarian top club Telekom Veszprem. Nenadic: "I had a very good time in Berlin and am grateful to the club for everything. I wish the that Füchse continues to be so successful and they get many titles. I will enjoy the next games and throw everything in."
Also Drago Vukovic will go. The 34-year-old Croat's contract expires in the summer and will not be renewed. Hanning: "Drago is an exemplary player who has given everything to Füchse in every game. We will certainly stay in good contact with Drago throughout the season. "
The expiring summer contract of junior talent Frederik Simak, however, was extended until 2020. The 19-year-old, who is a solid support in the Oberliga team and also this season, now and then sniffs Bundesliga air, will be introduced to the professionals.
