Dujshebaev continues as Polish coach

The current Polish national coach, Talant Dujshebaev, has extended his contract until after the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020.
The legendary Spanish handball personality, Talant Dujshebaev, will be responsible for the Polish national team until after the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020. The head coach of the Polish champions Vive Tauron Kielce took over after Michael Biegler after the European Championship in Poland in January.
At the time he signed a contract until November, but after the Olympics in Rio where Poland finished 4th, the two parties have chosen to be together long-term.
Talant Dujshebaev's next task with the Polish national team will be the World Championship in France in January. Poland is without several important players such as Krzysztof Lijewski, Karol Bielecki and Slawomir Szmal. They are in Group A with the hosts France, Russia, Brazil, Japan and Norway.
