Željko Babić continues anyhow as Croatian national coach!

In early September after a disappointing Olympics in Rio the Croatian national coach Željko Babić announced, that he resigned with immediate effect.

But now the coordinator of the national teams in the Croatian Handball Association, Ivano Balic, reveals in an interview with the Croatian newspaper Sportske Jutarnji that Željko Babić remains Croatian national coach:

"Željko Babić remains the coach of the Croatian national team. The decision is common, leading people of the covenant and me. Babic was the choice of all that are relevant to such decisions."
