According to our sources HSG Wetzlar have bought the 27-year-old Danish left wing Kasper Kvist from HC Midtjylland.

Just before the start of the German Bundesliga HSG Wetzlar got very bad news. Their topscorer of the last season, the German left wing Maximilian Holst, got an ACL injury in a German Cup game and is out for the rest of the season. Furthermore is Philipp Pöter, the new left back of the club, out for an indefinite period due to health problems.

HSG Wetzlar have signed the Swedish left back Emil Berggren on a 1+1-year contract as a replacement for Philipp Pöter, and now the German club have allegedly also found a replacement for Maximilian Holst.

The choice has according to our sources fallen on the 27-year-old Danish left wing Kasper Kvist from HC Midtjylland. HSG Wetzlar have paid the Danish club an undisclosed amount to buy him out of his contract.

Kasper Kvist is destined to make his homecourt debut as early as tomorrow against THW Kiel.

Kasper Kvist will be the eight signing of HSG Wetzlar this season. See the transfers list of the Bundesliga here.
