Manuel Späth, the captain, line player and defense general of Frisch Auf Göppingen, plays his eleventh season in the German Bundesliga club. And there are signs that it might be his last. The TVB 1898 Stuttgart is particularly interested in a commitment of the 31-year-old according to Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

"I do not want to deny it, Manu (Manuel Späth,red.) is an interesting player from the region," admits the CEO of TVB 1898 Stuttgart Jürgen Schweikardt to Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

The contract situation in TVB 1898 Stuttgart? Simon Baumgarten still has a contract valid until 2018. The contract of the Croatian second man of the position, Teo Coric, runs out at the end of the season.
