Theilinger stays in Erlangen

The German national player Nicolai Theilinger has extended his contract with HC Erlangen.

The 25-year-old German right back Nicolai Theilinger has prematurely extended the contract with HC Erlangen, which ran until 30 June 2018, by two more years to the summer of 2020.

In February 2015, the HC Erlangen signed the left hander from TV Neuhausen, and now he has become a national player:

"I am delighted that we have already extended the contract at an early stage. I feel extremely comfortable in Erlangen. In our young team, we still have a lot of potential and we want to get better together," says Nicolai Theilinger in a press release from HC Erlangen.

HC Erlangen confirms in the press release, that Nicolai Theilinger is hotly contented by many top clubs.

The promoters of the Bundesliga HC Erlangen is at the moment placed 9th.
