According to the German TV channel SKY the Danish goalkeeper Jannick Green joins SG Flensburg-Handewitt from the summer of 2018.
Jannick Green is allegedly destined to replace another Danish goalkeeper, Kevin Møller, in SG Flensburg-Handewitt, when Møller leaves the club in the summer of 2018 (read more about Kevin Møller, who is rumored to FC Barcelona, here). That revealed the German TV channel SKY in the middle of the Champions League game between SG Flensburg-Handewitt and HC Meshkov Brest tonight.
The Managing Director of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, Dierk Schmäschke, has denied the rumors.
The 28-year-old Danish national player, who already plays in the German Bundesliga in SC Magdeburg, has a contract that expires in the summer of 2018.
Jannick Green started his career in the Danish club Lemvig Håndbold and has also played for the Danish club Aalborg Håndbold and Bjerringbro-Silkeborg. He has played 82 caps for the Danish national team and has won Olympic gold in Rio in 2016 and silver at the World Championship 2013 in Spain and at the European Championship 2014 in his home country Denmark.
