The German 2. Bundesliga club ThSV Eisenach may get a new home ground

A new arena with room for 4000 spectators is under planning in Eisenach, Germany. Last season, when the German club was in the Bundesliga, ThSV Eisenach got an dispensation to play at their current homeground, the old Werner-Aßmann-Halle with room for 3100 spectators.

The arena will cost more than 11 million euros, and ThSV Eisenach has granted 600.000 euro. The rest of the money is to be found elsewhere.
