The right back of the German national team, Fabian Wiede, backs out of the European Qualifiers due to shoulder problems.

The 22-year-old right back of Füchse Berlin, Fabian Wiede, will not participate in the two first European Qualifers of Germany in the upcoming days. The German national player is suffering from an injury in the left shoulder and falls out for an indefinite period.

In the current squad of the German national coach, Dagur Sigurdsson, for the games against Portugal (Wednesday, 7 pm, in Wetzlar) and Switzerland (Saturday, 17.45 in Zürich ) are Steffen Weinhold and Kai Häfner therefore available on the right back position.

An MRI examination was already underway on Monday. Fabian Wiede will now go to Berlin Charité for further research. In order to get an accurate view of the severity of the injury, an arthroscopy is planned.
