Chartres signs Danish goalkeeper

The Danish goalkeeper Kim Sonne Hansen joins C'Chartres Métropole Handball.

The top club of the French 2nd league, C'Chartres Métropole Handball, continues to reinforce the squad for the French league next season. The ambitious French club has signed a 3-year contract with the Danish goalkeeper of the Bundesliga club GWD Minden, Kim Sonne Hansen, from next season to the summer of 2022.

26-year-old Kim Sonne Hansen becomes the 2nd Danish signing of C'Chartres Métropole Handball for next season. The club has already signed a contract with the Danish right wing of US Ivry, Morten Vium Troelsen (read more here). Both player began their career in the Danish champion Skjern Håndbold and played together as youth players.

Besides Kim Sonne Hansen and Morten Vium Troelsen C'Chartres Métropole Handball has also signed contracts with the Slovenian playmaker of US Ivry, Vasja Furlan, and the French line player of Grand Nancy, Edgar Dentz.

Kim Sonne Hansen has besides GWD Minden and Skjern Håndbold also played in TTH Holstebro and Skive fH but he is probably best known for his time in THW Kiel.
