Boeriths new coach of TuS Metzingen

René Hamann-Boeriths becomes head coach of the German women team TuS Metzingen.

The former Danish national player and current Sports Manager of the Danish League club TM Tønder, René Hamann-Boeriths, has signed a 2-year contract with the German women league club TuS Metzingen, where he from next season to the summer of 2019 becomes head coach.

René Hamann-Boeriths, who worked in his current club TM Tønder as a head coach from 2010 to 2012, was as a player an integral part of the Danish national team from 1989 to 1997. He played 110 caps and scored 160 goals.

He has previously been assistant coach in Skjern Håndbold and head coach of the Danish men clubs SønderjyskE Håndbold, Fredericia HK, Århus GF, TM Tønder and the latest in the Norwegian club Drammen HK.

As a player René Hamann-Boeriths played in Germany in the club Bayer Dormagen and VfL Bad Schwartau from 1995 to 2002.
